Memorial Hospital Employee of the Month

April 2013 Employee of the Month Judie Marshall
Judie is a great example of an Employee of the Month. Judie steps in where ever help is needed and makes sure that things are covered in the lab area. I have witnessed where Judie gives staff responsibilities to be able to grow their knowledge within the department. Judie follows through on projects that I have worked with her on and when ever Judie’s name is the responsible name for a task, you can be guaranteed that it will be completed. Judie is always pleasant and professional and great representation for Memorial Hospital.

March 2013 Employee of the Month Katy Huling
Katy is a very dedicated hardworking employee. She is always willing to chip in and pick up extra shifts, she is flexible with her hours and changes her plans at a moment’s notice to make sure that the OB department is staffed. Katy has worked very hard on CPSI and CPOE, she serves on the super user committee and attends CPSI conference to better learn the system. She sees something that needs done and she takes care of it. This includes things from patient care to CPSI to forms and policies. Katy is great with patients and well respected by staff and physicians. I think Katy exceeds all of the Standards of Behavior and is a great role model to all employees. Katy is very welcoming to all new staff and makes them feel like part of the team.

Memorial Hospital Employee of the Month

February 2013 Employee of the Month Laura Plowman
Laura is the perfect example of someone who lives the “standards of behavior” and goes above and beyond them every day! She is so pleasant and cheerful that she brings the entire dept up every day. You never know if she is having a bad day because she does not show it to others. She is kind and compassionate to all patients and staff and goes out of her way to make people feel good about themselves. She makes my job as a manager so much easier because she takes the initiative often to get things done, solve problems and create brainstorming solutions independently. She has a lot of responsibilities and is very dependable and continues to take on more as the strong team player she is. She never complains and has the most positive “can do” attitude. If everyone in this organization was like Laura we would be on the top of our game. She has never called in sick in the whole 3 years she has been here.

Memorial Hospital Employee of the Month

November 2012 Employee of the Month Ed Phelan
Ed exemplifies the Standards of Behavior in everything he does. He always has a smile and wonderful attitude. He works well with everyone in the hospital and clinics and is a role model we should all follow. Everything that Ed does is done with 100% dedication to the success of this facility. We would be hard pressed to find another employee that is as devoted to our patients, family members and employees as Ed.

January 2013 Employee of the Month Roxanne Rankin
Roxanne has been so very kind and patient as she has been teaching me how to do my job correctly. Answering every question and always encouraging me with her positive words. She is always wonderful with every patient and her sweet nature makes others want to do and be better. She never does anything halfway she always makes sure it is done correctly to the best of her ability. She is a wonderful person to learn from and work with. She is a gem!

Memorial Hospital Employee of the Month

December 2012 Employee of the Month Janette Glass
Janette always goes above and beyond when it comes to her patients and co-workers. She can never tell you “no” and is always willing to step up and help. Words cannot express what an asset she is to our facility and organization.
