| Memorial Hospital has an emergency medical
provider and skilled emergency staff on duty at Memorial Hospital 24
hours a day. Our Emergency Department Team also includes experts
from Laboratory, Cardiopulmonary, Imaging, and Pharmacy. |

| The Hancock County Ambulance Service is a full
time Advanced Life Support Paramedic service based at Memorial
Hospital. Trauma Nurses and Paramedics are trained to respond at a
moments notice to treat trauma and acute medical conditions. The
Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians assist in the emergency
room and other departments to provide additional emergency and
trauma care. |

| Memorial Hospital's affiliation with OSF, Peoria
allows the valuable medical resource of the third largest Trauma
Center in the state. Lifeflight has two helicopters for rapid
transport. In the event that the medical care needed is not provided
at Memorial, there are valuable resources available to transfer
severe trauma or critically ill patients to Peoria or the hospital
of your choice. |
